About JM Switchboards


JM Switchboards was established by Directors, Sandy and Mary-ann McEachan in 1987. The business initially serviced water treatment plants and pump stations within the Cairns and surrounding region and has since expanded to include communities in Cape York and the Torres Strait. JM Switchboards moved from its Scott Street premises in 2008, to its current expanded workshop premises on Hartley Street, Bungalow. It currently employs 24 staff, including highly qualified electrical trade professionals and project management personnel.

Since its inception, JM Switchboards has undertaken and completed many diverse projects including electrical switchboards and pump systems for Cairns Regional Council, Hinchinbrook Shire Council, Cassowary Coast Regional Council, Townsville City Council, Torres Strait Island Regional Council and Bowen Shire Council Sewage and Water Treatment Plants.
